Enameled cast iron casseroles are really indispensable to any cordon bleu. Useful for cooking, long-baking, stews or steaming veggies, many are the recipes that you can accomplish with your Le Creuset Casserole. The only thing you shouldn’t u
se them for is for deep frying because the high temperature of the oil could damage the enamel.
I personally really like their stoneware heart collection as this one is very original and best of all, they can also be used in the microwave. The amazing thing with Le Creuset products is that they really do last a lifetime; back in the 70′s in France, it used to be a staple on any wedding gift registry list and I’m sure that even nowadays the people who still use a wedding gift registry list have them on their list.
