Did you ever hear the saying that a way to a man’s heart is through his stomach? I wanted to put this myth to the test! I realized however that my kitchen appliances are not that great, since I never was a great chef. After watching Julie and Julia I decided to change my fast food habits and firstly shopped for a proper single oven. Ideally, I was looking for a single oven which does sort of everything for me. I mean, I had to face it, I will never be Julia.
In pursuit to solve my problem I came across the Smeg Single Ovens. These ovens look like a piece of art in your kitchen. If you don’t look properly you might mistake it with something else. What drew my attention was that most of the Smeg Single Ovens had 12 functions and a digital electronic programmer with multi display. This display would assist me and the oven to use teamwork, me to “team” and the oven to “work”. Another plus is that the oven quickly preheats which would assist the speedy preparation of a romantic meal.
Another world renowned brand is Miele, they produce a wide range of Miele Single Ovens with great functionality and the latest in oven technology. I specifically enjoy the user favourite function where the oven remembers repetitive settings and the many automated programs which will assist you to roast an unbelievable leg of lamb or roast chicken to invite mates and family over and impress!
Now that I have my new oven my meals are delicious. I still don’t know whether love goes through the stomach, but my romantic dates always comment on my fabulous cooking.
Did you know…?
To roast the best chicken ever, use a chicken labeled “roasters”, which are generally older and larger (up to 5 pounds) than “broilers” or “fryers.” I think roasters make the best choice because they have more muscle tissue and they carry a thicker layer of fat, which cooks off and creates an amazing flavorful.
