Imagine that you have finished all your tasks, are totally worn out and ready to sleep on a winter night. When you flop into your bed, all your sleep disappears, as your bed is ice-cold! This is a situation that I had faced when Ash and I were newly married. Thankfully it was quickly remedied by a thoughtful gift – an electric blanket – from one of our friends.

Ash and I were married in winter. I was looking forward to setting up our new home after returning from our honeymoon. I had not realized what a lot of work this entailed!
