Every Christmas it is the same: What electronic gadgets are in and which are out? I read through a lot of magazines and websites to find the electronic must-haves for this holiday season. And here they are:

1. The Apple MacBook Pro Notebook is one of the best in terms of performance and design. It’s new unibody design which is made out of one block of aluminum protects your precious notebook. The NVIDIA graphics processor is perfect for the latest 3D Games or to view your videos and photos in the most brilliant way.

2. Sony’s PlayStation 3 Slim is probably one of the best PlayStations ever! Besides its new size (33% smaller and 36% lighter) it also comes with a full functioning Blu-ray disc player. So you get a video game console and a device to watch your movies!

3. LCD TVs must not be missing from this year’s X-Mas wish list. The Toshiba Regza 32 LCD TV is ready for the digital TV signals which will be available everywhere in the UK within the next years. One of the best features is AutoView which adjusts the picture depending not only on the light in the room but also what kind of picture is shown on the actual TV.

4. I have been a sucker for Apple products for a while and therefor I also have to put the Apple iPod Touch on this list. This device not only plays music and videos but you can also get around 85,000 applications for it, such as games, lifestyle, or social networking software. Also, its WiFi connectivity turns this little thing into a full-functioning pocket computer!

5. Sony HD Camcorders are small enough to be taken anywhere you go and they record all your videos in great high definition quality. Just connect them to your computer and cut your own videos like a pro! The newest models come with features like Smile Shutter which automatically takes a picture whenever somebody smiles without interrupting your video recording. Another great thing is the GPS tracking tool which let’s you show on Google Maps where you took your videos.

As winter is already here you should know that electronics are resilient to temperatures down to -17C. However, freezing temperatures can affect electronics like LCD screens and disk drives and might shorten their life.
