Looking for a new pair of hair straighteners? Stuck on what to get? Have no fear because I am here to review my two ultimate favourites.

In the pink corner…
We have GHD Kiss Hot Pink IV Styler, ideal for a girly girl who is obsessed with pink! (Like moi)
I bought these, January this year and I must say I am very impressed. The colour was the main attraction I have to admit, but surely we have all heard of GHD! Let’s face it, they are a well known long lasting brand, expensive…but they do the job perfectly.
My hair is poker straight in less than 10 minutes.
How much did they cost? £135, they came with a GHD box, how- to dvd, three lip glosses and a GHD Heat Protector Spray, which I also recommend. And £10 from the price  goes to breast cancer research!
So that’s the positives, there’s a major problem why I had to stop using them, and that is: they are harsh for my hair.
There is no heat controller so you have to put up with the very hot 200C setting, I have read somewhere that the heat goes up to 320C but don’t quote me on that.

Nevertheless it’s still very hot for my liking.

In the blue corner…
So I went on the hunt for some new kind- to hair straighteners.
I came across Remington’s Shine Therapy.. On the box the words shine therapy stood out to me..I read on to find out that they have vitamin E and avocado to add shine to your hair, I was intrigued.
These straighteners have a heat control, allowing you to adjust to the temperature you want.
They heat up in a hair – straightener -world breaking 15 seconds.
How much did they cost? 40, big price comparison from the GHD’s!

I have been using these straighteners for 4 months now and I’m so pleased with their performance. It does exactly what it says, adds shine! Thanks to the combination of shine enhancing vitamins E and Avocado. Not only do I have shiny hair, it’s smooth and not damaged from too much heat.
The only disadvantage is that the control buttons are in a awkward place, so when styling your hair you turn the heat up/down by mistake.
That is the only thing I would change.
So we have a winner… Remington’s Shine Therapy!
