In real life shopping in the sales can be horrible. You leave the house full of expectation but gradually as the Saturday afternoon continues you feel more and more disappointed.

Rails and rails of mishmashed clothes in random sizes and prices lie in front of you.
The queues are insane and are enough to put even the most determined shopper off.
There are a group of ladies in the middle of the shop all frantically fighting it out for the last Christopher Kane for Topshop dress.

Usually I give up after 20 minutes under the hot florescent lighting and walk back home forlorn and empty handed with nothing to show for my efforts. Or occasionally I walk away with a handful of cheap tat which I have impulse bought and will never actually wear but because it was half price I couldn’t resist the bargain.
