Snowboard Checklist: What you shouldn’t forget to take with you on the Slopes

Snowboarding can be a lot of fun and a great workout. As with any sports, the right equipment is essential in order to enjoy your time outside and to prevent any athletic injuries. This list provides you with the basic equipment that is a must for every snowboarder, if you are a beginner or a pro.

  • First of all, you need a snowboard of course. Burton snowboards are the best in terms of quality and price. They are very reliable and will last for a lot of seasons. You can find them in different designs and colours. Just choose one that fits your personality the best!
  • Another essential are gloves. For snowboarding they have to be very sturdy as you will touch the snow or ice while you are boarding down the slopes. And of course they need to keep your fingers dry and warm. Dare2b gloves have a perfect thermal insulation and are very comfortable to wear the whole day outside.
  • When you are on the slopes you always want to have perfect sight, no matter if it is sunny, foggy, or snowing heavily. Oakley goggles provide all that and even more. With their vented anti-fog lenses you will see everything at all times. They also give you a full protection from UVA and UVB.
  • Another very important equipment is a helmet. It will keep you safe the whole time you are on the slopes. Red Hi-Fi Helmets give you full protection and keep your head warm. No matter how your snowboard outfit looks like, there will be a helmet that perfectly complements your appearance.
  • Speaking about the right outfit, you will want a jacket that fits comfortably and that will meet all your needs: being sturdy, having a lot of pockets for your belongings, and keeping you warm and dry. Berghaus women’s ski jackets can also be used for snowboarding as they are made for the roughest conditions. Men should check out Columbia men’s ski jackets- they will keep you warm the whole time you are in the snow.
  • Do you like to take a lot of things with you on the slopes such as snacks, water bottles or soft drinks? Then you should definitely consider taking a rucksack with you. Today’s models are made from robust material and very light. Padded straps will make you enjoy carrying your belongings around.
  • What is better than being on the slopes and the sun is shining? You probably know that the sun on the mountains is much stronger and therefore you can get sunburn on your face easily. Clarins sun care cream will protect your skin on those sunny days.

Did you know…?
