Dance through the Day with MP3 Players

Posted in Tech

Are you like me and like to have music around you throughout the whole day? It can be both relaxing and motivating to listen to music or to have it in the background while you are working in the office or out in the gym. I think that one of the greatest things in the music business has been the invention of the MP3. They are fast and easy to get; you don’t have CD cases lying around and, with today’s technology, you can carry around thousands of songs in your pocket.

Let’s take the Apple iPod nano 8GB Blue as an example. The iPod definitely revolutionised the way we buy and listen to music. 8GB mean a LOT of storage and you can keep a music library with beautiful album art and even song lyrics within it. One of my favourite features is the Genius Mixes. Your iPod nano automatically recognizes songs of the same genre and creates a whole new playlist for you that lets you wonder about what song comes next! But this digital player can do so much more than just play MP3s. It is basically a pocket entertainment system.

As spring is just getting started, an MP3 player can be a valuable and stylish mate when you are walking through blooming parks and meadows. This year, a pink MP3 player is on everybody’s mind and is the perfect fashion accessory. Major companies such as Sony, Samsung, and Apple have come out with their own version. Their storage space ranges from 2GB to 16GB, depending on how big you want your actual player to be.

Another great thing about MP3s is that they can also be very practical at home. It’s so much easier to have a big MP3 collection at home than going through all your CDs looking for that one song that has been stuck in your head the whole day. Therefore, a lot of electronics companies are equipping their typical stereo systems with MP3 features of all kinds. The Philips MP3 Micro HiFi System offers two different MP3 listening options. One way is to use a USB cable to connect it to any MP3 player. Another way is the 3.5mm audio input cable to use with an MP3 player or any other audio source. Furthermore, most micro systems today are also able to play MP3 CDs which can store a huge music collection as well. The great thing about those audio systems is that you can also use them to listening to the radio or normal audio CDs.

As you can see, MP3s have a lot of great advantages and they can definitely make our lives easier without losing the enjoyment and sound quality of listening to our old CDs.

Did you know?
Today, most new car models come with an extra plug-in cable for MP3 players such as iPods so you can easily listen to your music collection while driving. If you have an older car model without such a feature, you can buy a car radio that has an auxiliary input in the front panel. The only thing you need then is an audio cable and you are ready to rock and roll!
