Spring is upon us and the weather is starting to take a turn for the better. Shedding all those winter layers if something I’ve been looking forward to for quite some time now. I love wearing stylish coats during the wintertime, but nothing really beats the feeling of sun on your skin. Spring 2010 is seeing a resurgence in a style that was very popular quite a few years ago: bolero jackets and chiffon dresses.
Bolero jackets are absolutely perfect for the springtime. Bolero jackets are half length jackets that keep your arms and back covered in a very fashionable way. They’re usually worn paired with dresses since full-sized jackets and dresses don’t go well together. It’s an easy way to stay warm while wearing a dress and it looks great. Since the weather isn’t warm enough to wear sleeveless or backless dresses yet, a bolero jacket is an essential addition to any woman’s wardrobe. It’s versatility allows you to mix and match outfits and it’s practicality keeps you warm and looking hot in the spring time.
Chiffon dresses have always been a very popular type of dress because of its femininity. The material is incredibly light, bouncy and soft. Chiffon embodies femininity and youth in a way that no other kind of material can. Needless to say, wearing chiffon is a perfect way to ring in the new season. They fit in splendidly for practically any occasion and they work well with bolero jackets as well, which is useful in the springtime as the weather tends to be on the windy side.
