baby monitorIf you are expecting a baby or if you recently became parents you know how important it is to make sure that the baby is doing well all the time. Especially when you have the baby sleeping in another room you want to be sure that it the little girl or boy has a pleasant sleep and that nothing is bothering her or him. A great way to check on that without peeking into the room every so often is a baby monitor.

For example, the Philips baby monitor line called Avent uses the latest technologies to check on your baby:  Besides listening to the sound, it keeps an eye on the room’s room temperature and humidity. You can put the small parent unit on your built so you can easily do other things around the house with a range up to 330 meters. The data encryption technology makes sure nobody else can listen to it and you can even talk back to our precious one or use familiar noises to calm her or him down.

There are even video baby monitors available now which consist of a little camera. Safety 1st has different models that let you look at your baby whenever you want. If you want to save battery you can set a mode that the camera will turn on every time the baby makes noise. Both the monitor and parent part are wireless so it is easy stay informed what your baby is up to. Safety 1st has even integrated a night vision mode so you can look at your baby when it is dark.

If you want to get a brand new model than you should look out for a digital baby monitor. They have a great hi-def sound so you can almost hear every little breath of your baby. The Motorola MBP35 comes with a LCD colour screen,  infrared night vision and highly sensitive microphone so will know at any time during the day or night if your baby needs something. Other great features include a baby unit night light, baby lullabies, or an out of range warning.

You see it is easy with all those different baby monitors to feel comfortable in having your baby sleep in another room and without you having to constantly check on it.

Did you know?
Besides getting familiar with your baby monitor way before the baby arrives in your home you should also get important things such as blackout curtains, a changing station, a nappy bin, baby car seat or baby carrier.
