The World Cup is all about world peace and getting to know different countries. Getting to know a country on of the most culturally eye-opening experiences you can have. England is playing Algeria  in the next match. Did you know that Algeria is actually the biggest country at the Mediterranean Sea. You would probably never equate Algeria with Mediterranean food, but they actually have amazing cuisine. What about inviting some friends over for the world cup and cooking some Mediterranean food. Imagine all these wonderful oriental smells wafting about your house with a nice cool pint of good old English beer. What a magical mix. Maybe this time, the team will even perform better, let’s hope.

Algeria made it into the world cup for the first time in 24 years. Did you know that the Algerian Football team is called “Les Fennecs” which means the desert foxes. The desert foxes are quite foxy–they won the African Cup of Nations in 1990 when they hosted the tournament.
