Off to a rather disappointing start, but the games are just beginning! There’s still plenty of time to make a mark on the games and there is still plenty of time to show your support for your team and your nation. There is a wide variety of World Cup jacket styles that have been produced throughout the years–some of them sport timeless and classic designs. At Shopaholic, we’re devoted to showing our team spirit and have compiled a list of the most popular England 2010 World Cup jacket styles around.
England Home 2009/11 Anthem Jacket
Made of 100% polyester, the newest official England Home Anthem Jacket is completely white featuring the three lions crest and diamond logo over the chest. It’s stark white appearance is broken only by the red and blue of the crest and logo. You can also get the same exact jacket in all black, though the white is much more popular and stylish. The jacket features a typical track collar and a zip that pulls all the way up.
England Away 2009/11 Anthem Jacket
I personally prefer England’s Away Anthem jacket. It is designed like a bomber jacket–it’s much more fitted and eye-catching than the Home Anthem jacket. It has elastic around the wrists and waist, and has a bomber jacket styled collar that is tapered. The colour scheme is much more appealing and consistent as well–it’s completely red, save for white zips down the middle and over the pockets. It features a crest and logo as well, coloured completely red and white. Across the back, ‘England’ is prominently displayed in a subtly lighter shade of red. There are also underarm ventilation slits for optimum comfort.

mbro England 1966 Ramsey Jacket
Sir Alf Ramsey’s classic jacket worn in the 1966 World Cup is being re-released this year, commemorating England’s World Cup victory. The classic blue jacket is designed similar to England’s Away Anthem jacket–it’s a bomber jacket with a crest and logo over the chest, and elastic around the wrists and waist. The elastic around the collar, wrists and waist feature red, white and blue stripes. The jacket is completed by a sturdy zip down the front and zip pockets as well.
Deck yourself out with the latest gear and show the world who you want to win this year. These three official jackets are England fan favourites this year so make sure to pick one up yourself and show your support. Good luck, England!!!
