We made it! England reached the last 16 of the World Cup. We won against Slovenia and this time the team displayed high-tempo football. As the US team scored last minute, the Three Lions only came in on 2nd place in Group C. Germany won their last game against Ghana and came in on 1st place in Group D. So now we play against Germany on Sunday. And this will be the real challenge!
Although we play Germany very early in the World Cup (too early, in my opinion), this will be probably the greatest party in the tournament so far. And you should get ready for that!
First of all, you need an appropriate outfit that does justice to the true supporter. Wearing an England football shirt is definitely a must. To stress that your love to England is really big, England face paint can’t be omitted. If it’s chilly outside, don’t forget to bring a jacket. An Umbro England jacket will keep you warm enough. Just put some colours on your cheeks and wear an England jacket. So everyone knows whom you are cheering for.
When you plan on having a party at your place and watch football with friends, make sure that your TV equipment meets all expectations. If you have just a “normal” TV, you should think of a Sony Davdz680W. This brilliant piece of technical innovation will turn your television into a home cinema. It comes with two tall, slimline front speakers, a handy iPod dock and top-notch DVD performance. With a Sony Davdz680W you can feel the real football atmosphere in your living room –as if you are in the stadium yourself.
If you rather prefer celebrating with thousands of other people in a public viewing area, you should take a digital camera with you. You might witness one of the best games England has ever played. So you want to record yours and the fans’ reactions when England will win the penalty shoot-out against Germany. A HD Digital SD Camcorder like the Panasonic hdc-sd60 records extremely clear, crisp motion images. It is lightweight and easy to handle –just the perfect camcorder for spontaneous films. Afterwards you can share the historic event with everyone who wasn’t there. You could even upload it on youtube.
Although it sounds hard but that’s all you can do because the rest is up to our team. The clash between England and Germany is traditionally very special. Hopefully, we will see a good game with highly motivated players. Football’s coming home…!
Did you know?
England have won 12 (7 of them up to 1966) of the 27 games played against Germany. While Germany have won 10, and also won both penalty shootouts that followed two of the five draws.
