At this year’s FIFA World Cup in South Africa, our English team has had a slow start. The first two games of Group C where England played in ended 1:1 against the United States and 0:0 against Algeria. But don’t worry, there is still hope that we will qualify for the last sixteen. Amongst the people betting, Capello’s squad is still the fifth favourite!
Tomorrow, England has another chance to show off their amazing football skills and hopefully, Rooney is getting back to his old shape. As Wednesday’s games (England-Slovenia, USA-Algeria) are the last ones of Group C they are being played at the same time in order to have fairness among the four teams. They are starting pretty early, at 3 o’clock in the afternoon, to be exact. So if you have to stay at the office and you cannot go to the close-by pub then you can record everything at home on your multi format DVD recorder. It works the same way your old VHS recorder used to work. Just set the right time and how long it should record it. Then, you can watch what you recorded on the DVD, you can save it or record something else over it. The great advantage over VHS tapes is that the quality is so much better as it is saved digitally.
If you can spend the day of the England vs. Slovenia game at home, you want to record one game and watch the other one , then you should get the Panasonic Twin Tuner DVD recorder. The twin tuner lets watch one channel and record another one. The Panasonic DVD recorder also come with a hard drive of up to 500GB. So you can also save the football game in HD on the hard drive. Other features include memory card slots, a USB terminal, or YouTube/Picasa compatibility.
You still haven’t gotten a TV for the big World Cup final game on July 17? Then be quick and order a Flat Screen TV DVD Combi. They come in all kinds of screen sizes and colours (the white one from Toshiba is our favourite!) and will let you watch the game in crisp quality. The LG Electronics LU7000 is HD ready and the built-in DVD player will save room and less hassle with cables.
Did you know?
Right now, Prince William and Prince Harry are spending time in South Africa following the FIFA World Cup closely. In a press conference, Prince Harry said that he believes in the English team and that a 1:0 against Slovenia would be great because it is a win.
