When choosing a cosmetic gift set for that someone special, one of the many things you need to consider is the quality, not the brand of products, because it is going to look the same on whether it’s cheap or expensive.  Before purchasing one of these cosmetic gift sets the first thing you need to consider the person’s skin type. First, make a list of make-up that you need in your everyday life and decide what will work best for the gift receiver.

For example, products for your eyes such as eye shadow, eye liner, mascara and eyebrow pencil; for your cheeks a blush on and for your lips, lipstick and lip gloss and of course foundation which matches the skin color and/or type. Try to keep in mind what kind of personality they have; for example, if they tend to party a lot then they might want bolder shades and darker eyeliner. If they more of the shy type, then find sets which are softer and less attention grabbing.

One more thing to remember, even if you buy branded name cosmetic gift sets, make tends to generally look the same, so consider the quality when purchasing a set for another person. With cheaper brands, you can spend less, but will sacrifice quality and possibly upset the gift receiver.  If the receiver has sensitive skin, then you will probably want to buy a gift set which is more expensive and also provides hypo-allergenic items. For someone who has lighter skin, try finding a set which has tones to match their eye color and hair color. There are so many different options out there, so make sure that you choose wisely and keep the person you are buying the gift set in mind rather than buying for yourself!
