As the executive producer Moffat was significantly involved in casting Matt Smith who did a great job as the Eleventh Doctor. The critics wrote after the final episode that it “concluded the triumphant first series”.

Was it the best series finale since Dr. Who returned? Probably.

So what shall we do during the break? The best way is to watch the DVDs Volume 1 and 2. So host a Dr. Who DVD evening with your friends who waited every night when it was on and gave you a call afterwards to talk about the episode and speculate what will happen.

Now that you have a great DVD player maybe it is time to look for a new tv as well. The Philips LCD tv would a great device for your living room. It has a response time of just 2 ms and comes with 1080 pixel resolution. The sound is just amazing. MPEG 4 tuner optimizes the performance of HD films and a 2.1 surround system and a total output power of 40W. The viewers get a great experience out of those great features.

For some it makes more sense to replace their old television with a DVD LCD combi tv. It is a great alternative because it combines superb picture processing performance and style with the added bonus of an integrated DVD player. Toshiba has great models and their slim-line designs make the device ideal for many environments including the kitchen, small guest rooms or the bedroom.
