Shopping for a fashionista can be a bit intimidating.  A lot of what is currently considered fashionable seems strange to me, and sometimes I really can’t tell the difference between what’s high fashion and what’s just plain odd.  Happily, shopping for your fashionista friends doesn’t mean that you have to understand couture or even know the difference between argyle and paisley.  Go back to the basics for your Christmas gifts, and shop for the base of many a fashionable outfit – boots!

Boots are an integral part of every girl’s shoe rotation, especially come winter when keeping your toes toasty becomes a daily battle.  Most girls probably already have a pair of black boots, as well as a pair of brown boots, so try gifting a pair of ladies blue boots.  Blue is a fun neutral colour that goes with almost everything, and it’s an interesting alternative to boring old black and brown.  If your friend likes to show off her legs, go for a cute ankle pair, and look for something with a bit of heel to elongate the line of the calf.  If you live in a rainy area, try a pair of cute midnight blue Wellies, and maybe get something with a cute little bow in front for a playful feminine touch.
