Nike City Destroyer’s: London Pack
Nike Sportswear continues their City Destroyer’s line with the release of the London Pack this past Monday. The zip jacket comes with an original, numbered, and hand signed print form artist Harry Malt, which incorporates a destroyed image of The Gallows’ memorable live performance at 1948, and a hand crafted pin badge by Duffy. The jacket is housed in a wood case, with leather and wool detailing, matching the materials the jacket is constructed with.
Common Projects College Messenger Bag
If you think street wear is all about trainers and t-shirts, you couldn’t be further from the mark. The evolution of this fashion genre has some very grown up releases as of late. Common Projects, known mostly for their footwear, has recently dropped a beautifully crafted leather satchel.
Like their footwear, this messenger is crafted with high quality, luxury materials, and retains simple design elements that give it a very smart look. It features stone washed leather, double buckle closure, and a removable leather shoulder strap.
New CLAE Holiday Releases
CLAE has been one of my favourite footwear brands for the last few years. Their formula is rather simple: mix the comfort of trainers with the styling of dress shoes to fill the void many of us find between our trainers and our “proper” shoes.
Recently, they have added to their Holiday collection with a new model of both the Kennedy and the Stayhorn. The Stayhorn is a personal favourite, rendering the styling of a leather boot with a contrasting white sole you would find on a trainer. The result is a clean, chukka/desert boot style that gives you a nice go-to shoe for every day wear, especially when high heel boots seem a bit excessive for an entire day on your feet.
