One that matters: The cabin suitcase

With domestic airlines now charging for everything from a checked bag to an in-flight snack, flying has suddenly become a somewhat dicey proposition.  While plane travel remains the most convenient form of long distance transport, passengers now much consider how they’re going to get their belongings from point A to point B without doubling the cost of their flight.

The answer, friends, is the cabin suitcase.cabin suitcase

Though not a cure-all, the cabin suitcase is a free alternative to checking bags and provides enough space to store belongings for up to (roughly) a week.  While some may lament this sudden decrease in packing capacity, carrying a cabin trolley case also has its advantages.  Among these advantages:

  • Worry-free travel – Gone are the days of worrying about airlines losing your luggage.  Your suitcase stays in your hands, meaning there’s no chance of “Tim” in baggage handling damaging your stuff.
  • Expendiency – Go ahead and bypass the baggage claim. With your luggage securely in hand, you can step off the plane and go where you need to go with minimal delay.
  • Convenience – With all of your items with you on your flight, you can swap your high heel boots for slippers and still have time to switch back before you arrive at your destination.

While these are all great reasons to purchase cabin luggage, one must be careful when selecting their new suitcase.  Size and weight restrictions may vary from airline to airline, which is why the travel website Inflationbusting.com prepared the chart for you below.
