Bards (or minstrels) in the days of yore used to spin melodic tales all over the countryside, from castle to castle, with their instruments of choice. They would bring joy and cheer in the streets and courts during the dreary medieval period. Quite a romantic image. Now, I’m not advising you to quit your job and start busking, but musical mobility has many advantages.

For one, you can play your music even if the electricity goes out. Take that DJs; you can’t take turntables with you on a camping trip (or can you?)  Also, you can break out into song wherever you like, striking out into spontaneity at a moment’s notice. Take that Carpe Diem.  Or, you can get some busking done for some extra money on the weekends.

Whatever the reason, guitars are the best mobile instruments to go with and an acoustic guitar like an Ovation deep bowl should be your guitar of choice.
