This week we look at footwear from two classic labels, Nike and Doc Martens, as well as a laptop sleeve. Does it make sense? I don’t know. But trust me, it’s all on the level.

Dr Martens Manton Boot
Although the Dr Martens Chelsea Boot might look a bit too cleaned up for those of you who like the rugged look that we all associate with the Doc, the Manton is a perfect hybrid between the hard stylings of the classic Doc Martens look paired with a desert boot inspired style. Crafted from leather, it features two eyelets and a heavy, contrasting white sole. These are the business.

Nike Air Max 1 Blue/White
One of my favourite Nike trainers of all time, the Air Max 1 gets a new release for spring 2011. The blue/white colourway is beyond fresh. Originally released in 1990, this is another timeless staple that has been re-released countless times. Although I find some of the Air Max 1 colour packs to be rather repulsive, this recent offering has a timeless quality that ensures it will be a hit when the weather heats up. I know I’ll be pairing it with my 3l Comm Nike ACG Jacket.

Liberty London 13″ Ianthe Embossed Leather Sleeve
Just like spoiling a dressy outfit with a ski jacket, what’s the point of rolling around town with a brand new MacBook if you don’t have a case to match? Lucky for you, Liberty of London has just dropped a fine looking case designed in collaboration with Apple, specifically for Apple. Similar to a nice A4 leather portfolio, the Ianthe is made from Italian calf leather, and is designed to specifically house the 13” MacBook. Closer inspection reveals a subtle, unique, embroidered design. Even if you hate Steve Jobs’ mock neck sweaters and Primark jeans, can you really argue with Apple’s design?
