As we approach spring, it’ll soon be time to put away the heavy layers of winter and replace them with something a bit more festive. Just to give you a head start, I’ve compiled a list of three surefire spring fashion hits this year.

Barbour Sapper Jacket
The whole military/motorcycle inspired fashion has been trending for the last few years. But with cool pieces, clean designs, and great functionality, is it hard to understand why? One of my favourites is the Barbour Sapper Jacket. It features a waxed cotton exterior, polyester lining for warmth, corduroys cuffs, a front zip, four front pockets, and an inner-waist draw cord. As far as waxed cotton jackets go, you’re not going to do much better than this.

Ralph Lauren Weathered Flat Front Chinos
Ralph Lauren built his fashion label on prep-inspired clothing, and it should be no surprise that he’s got a good pair of chinos in his collection. Flat front trousers for men are the only way to go, and these are comfortable and stylish. Dressy enough to be worn with a button front shirt, but casual enough to be paired with a t-shirt and a pair of trainers. Perfect.

Colourful Ginghams
Ginghams have been cool since the 1960s, and they’ve really made a comeback to the mainstream fashion world in recent years. The great thing is that there are so many colour options available. And to me, spring is all about getting over the dreary grey of winter. What better way to do that than with a bit of colour on your shirt. My choice for this spring: green.
