Launching on February 3rd, UNIQLO’s highly anticipated Spring/Summer 2011 +J men’s and women’s clothing collection experiments with wide spaces and primordial colour contrasts.
With chalky Sahara whites and taupe pillars of stone that are boldly defined by fiery red, sky blue and elemental black,
Ms. Jil Sander has added a new dimension to her signature simplistic sleek lines and sharp cuts, used in previous
successful clothing ranges. Renowned for her classic designs and tailored details, Ms. Jil Sander’s creations offer
flattering fits and gracious movement.
Dresses are meticulously fitted to create an elegant silhouette; blouses ooze femininity whilst exploring a sporty style;
and tops range from classic to kaftan. Weightless jackets in wool and twill offer a warmer option for the early weeks of
Spring. These jackets, combined with smart, pinstripe trousers, create a beautifully executed outfit for a classy
alternative in the office or more formal occasions.
From its inception in October 2009, the +J collection has evolved and is received with global recognition and enthusiasm. This will be the fourth men’s and women’s clothing collection designed by Ms. Jil Sander for UNIQLO and is set to be graced by the same large, highly diversified group of people. Her utilitarian yet carefully detailed classic
designs, partnered with UNIQLO’s affordable prices meet the demands of the discerning populous.
The collection will be available online at www.uniqlo.com/uk from 1am on Thursday 3rd February and 10am on the same day at UNIQLO’s 311 Oxford Street and Westfield London stores.
