Fragrance is one of those gifts that keep on giving. It is also one of those gifts that give back to you. While Valentine’s Day is in the rearview, it is never too late to present your lady with a sweet smelling perfume. Not only will she able to appreciate it, but so will you. Finding the right fragrance can be tough, especially since you do not know how it might react to her natural aroma. I for one am a big fan of the Burberry London women perfume as it is great for any environment and you will likely find your sweetheart wearing it more than any other. It is a casual perfume with a unique blend of ingredients.

Its top notes, which you will generally smell in the onset of the perfume, consist of a nice blend of sweet, citrus and floral ingredients. For a traditional light scent, they utilize the traditional combination of rose and jasmine only to back it up with light hints of honeysuckle to add a slight sweetness to it. After the initial flavour of the rose, jasime and honeysuckle comes a slight kick of Clementine to add a bit of a tinge and make you perk up your nose a bit.

Once you get past the early airy notes, it begins to settle in with notes of musk and patchouli. The light minty flavour of the patchouli oils are almost a complete contrast to that of the musk and make for a unique flavour. Once the musk touches your nostrils, it is hard to stop thinking about the scent and that is what makes it so powerful. Just when you think that it might be subsiding, you are hit with the heavier base notes and the scent sticks with you. Burberry London can be worn for hours and still maintain its strong flavour throughout. It, along with Burberry Brit, are among my favourite fragrances for both men and women.
