Yes, Cheryl Cole is gorgeous and has some ridiculously superior genes, but she also has beautifully executed eye makeup that has become part of her signature look. If you’d like to try her eye makeup on yourself, we can tell you how to get the look. We can’t promise you will end up looking anything like Cheryl, but you will have some really defined, beautiful eyes.

First, you will want to make sure you have the best in illuminated bathroom mirrors, because you will need extreme precision and it is important to be able to clearly see how your handiwork is coming along. You will also need a smoky eyeshadow palette, liquid eye liner, false eyelashes, and mascara. Apply a tinted moisturiser all over your face, including on your eyelids in order to prep the eyes. You can also use an eye shadow primer, such as Urban Decay Eye Shadow Primer Potion. Then apply powder all over the face.

Next, brush a neutral colour all over the lids. Then, apply a darker colour such as Mulch by Mac from the lash line to the eyelid crease. Blend well. Then brush a bit of the Mulch along the lower lash line with an eye liner brush.

Next, take an angled brush and apply a liquid eye liner right along the upper lash line and blend in with a brush. Bobbi Brown gel liner is lovely as well. Flick the eye liner up a bit at the outer edge of the eye for a bit of that retro cat eye that Cheryl often sports. Then take a black eye pencil to line the bottom lash line.

For the final touch, apply a thin line of glue to the edge of the false lashes and, using tweezers to hold them, place them as close to your lash line as you can get them and press gently. The glue will dry clear. Apply a coat of mascara and you’ve got arresting eyes like Cheryl!
