SOPHNET X Converse
To me, a collaboration sneaker that mixes the converse high tops with anything else usually leaves me uninspired. Mostly, this is due to the fact that there’s no need to mess with a classic. That doesn’t mean there isn’t exceptions to my self imposed, highly pretentious rules. The SOPHNET x Converse collabo stays true to the original design, adding a few unique takes. Overall a very clean trainer.

Diesel X Pinarello
It seems like everyone is trying to cash in on the fixie craze. Now we’ve to two major Italian labels mixing to create a single-speed lightweight bike. I’m personally not the biggest fan of Diesel, but this bike is pretty cool. It’s got an all aluminum frame, and comes available in two different colours. The all black is very clean, and the green/matte black has a certain wow factor I dig. The branding is also very subtle. Well played.

Sugar Cane – SC41947
For their Spring/Summer 2011 Line, the Japanese denim brand Sugar Cane has gone back to it’s classics. It’s dropping a re-issue of one of its first models ever, the SC41947. In that cluster of numbers, the last 4 digits are “1947”, which is a reference to the era in which straight cut jeans were extremely popular. What you get with the SC41947 is a pair of extremely clean, straight leg vintage indigo jeans. The waist is somewhat higher than what you’d expect from the cuts of today, and it features a full button front fly.
Did you know?
Pinarello was founded in 1952, and most of the bikes they produce are hand made.
