Sports shorts: Rugby ball

Rugby BallSpring has sprung and it is time to get outside for a game of footy or rugby. While a football or rugby match in the rain is always good fun, it is nice to get an occasional match in fair conditions. In any case, getting out for an afternoon match with your mates is nothing short of a good workout and an afternoon well spent.

The most joyous part about football and rugby is that you do not need much more than a pair of boots and a rugby ball. Get yourself a nice football or rugby ball and just make the trek to the closest open field and get things under way. Of course, you are going to need to be able to keep your footing when caught up in the scrum, so a pair of quality rugby boots is definitely worth the investment. Your battered up Adidas with no grip on the sole are not going to do the trick.

If you have got a pair of old football spikes, then you might be fit to join in the fun. If you stand without a pair of boots, then you would be wise to look into a pair of Asics or Adidas rugby boots to fill your void. Fitted and crafted for the sport, they are sure to provide you with plenty of ankle support and the traction needed to challenge the opposition at the bottom of the scrum.

Did you know?
There have been six Rugby World Cup matches with the 7th scheduled for 2011. Australia & South Africa have the most RWC victories with two titles each..
