The arrival of summer means a great many things, but most importantly: wedding season. Nothing is more fun or more joyful than a wedding. Of course we’d all like to show up looking like Pippa Middleton, but the next best thing is to start your look with a Fenn Wright Manson dress. If you’d like something a bit darker, the Sapphire Silk Pleat dress is so chic and classic, yet also a bit flirty with its multi-layer box pleats. It has a fitted bodice with a high square neckline and grosgrain ribbon trim at the waist. I love the royal blue colour; I think that black is usually too heavy for summer weddings. This blue is much fresher.

My last pick is the Cream Broderie Anglaise Belted dress. It is so chic and stunning in such a simple, classic way. I can picture a 1950s bombshell wearing this shift-style dress made of Broderie Anglaise and cinched with a skinny black patent belt around the waist. It is comfortable and can also be worn to the office with a little bolero jacket when wedding season is over.

On second thought, you’ll probably end up looking even more lovely than Pippa Middleton!
