Prints are one of my favorite ways to add interest to my wardrobe. They add depth and interest to the simplest of pieces. I have found that wearing prints is one of the funnest ways to spice up those mundane days when most things in my closet are dull. On those days I like to just throw on a printed button-down top, a pair of jeans and cool shoes then dash out the door.
Shopping for prints is tons of fun they delight the eye and grab your attention. I have found that thrift shops, vintage stores and the flea market are treasure troves for fabulous vintage prints but if one feels like acquiring a more recent garment I have found that River Island, Asos, Whistles, and Equipment all currently have some really beautiful prints.
Some style Ideas:
1.Tops work well with a pair of skinny jeans then top it off with some brogues.
2.Skirts can be paired beautifully with simple striped tee shirt’s or tops, as long as the colors coordinate it will be easy to mix the prints then add some fun sandals.
3.Pants, simply wear them with a simple oxford style shirt and a pair of platforms.
On my blog Artfully Artista my love of prints is very well documented.
